CONTROL FOR EXTRUDERS

Before feeding animals, grain including seeds, and fodder are needed to prepare carefully. By using adequate methods, the quality of feed can be repaired, therefore the product can be digested more easily for livestock and consumed by using less energy with higher profit. During preparing slicing and mixing are always needed, but in certain cases, some further procedures can be necessary.

The extrusion is one of the spread methods of preparing feed in agriculture. The soybean is prepared by this technology, but it can be used in the case of other grain.

By using the adequate technology, the characteristics of the product change positively during extrusion.

1. In the extruded feed the activity of the enzymes is higher.
2. It increases the power of the animals and the quantity of their milk.
3. The material that blocks the absorption of the nutrient goes off.
4. The poisonous elements and microorganisms situated in the feed degrade.

This technology does not need any outer heating source (steam) because the necessary heat is created by abrasion and pressure. During the process, a relatively huge amount of oil is developed as a by-product, which can be used.

The extruded feed is proper for feeding growing animals. This procedure makes not or less usable material utilize (e.g. oil-seeds).

Granulating is a feed preparing method, which is similar to extrusion.
