INDUSTRIAL AUTOMATICS

Industrial automation is one of our activities. It is the essential element of production therefore mechanics would not work effectively. By automation the plant comes to life.

An automated system consists of the following main parts:

HMI or SCADA

The connection between human being and the machine

Human Machine Interface

The smart terminal with a touch screen with IP protection to use in the industrial area. Its place is in the front plate or door.

Its general sizes (it can be changed depending on the manufacturer) 3,5”, 5,7”, 7”, 7,5”, 10”, 12”, 15”

The interface can be drawn and programmed by our own programming software.

  • it has a friendly price in small size
  • it resists the adverse circumstances
  • it is used when there is no possibility for heated/cooled operating room, and in case of smaller systems, or perhaps as the operating interface of a big system
  • high level of secure operation

Its disadvantage comparing with SCADA systems:

  • Database management is undeveloped (it is important for journaling processes)

SUPERVISORY CONTROL AND DATA ACQUISITION

  • this software can be run in Windows, Linux, or other PC-based operating systems
  • comparing with HMI, it has more tools, therefore the custom-built application hides hired qualified graphical and database characteristics.

SCADA can be run on an industrial PC with touch screen, if the using place is similar to the description at HMI, or desktop computer if there is an operating room.

Programmable logical control

PLC

Electronics is situated in a control box. Our colleagues upload a custom-built program, which was programmed in its own frame program, therefore it can execute the process independently.

In our systems PLC manages the process in every case because its set of tools is rather proper for handling complex mathematical calculations. HMI or SCADA gives orders, and values, or reads from PLC, which can be followed on the display.

HMI or SCADA and PLC can cooperate as a system if they can communicate with each other. The communication on the standard protocol can be realized via wired or industrial radio frequency networks.

During work we have had a lot of experience in the management of the process in the technological plants, and we are developing our software continuously. We are adjusting it according to the operators’ demands that they can work more efficiently. We have created our control software called CONTROL, which is installed with complementary markers depending on the controlled technology.

If the clients’ order does not consist of the type of control, we prefer Omron, or Schneider PLC families.
